Image Details

What image editing do you perform?

We deliver "magazine ready" images. This includes, but is not limited to: Color correction, blemish removal, teeth whitening, softening under eyes / bags, flyaway hairs, red eye/bloodshot eyes, lightening of eyes, B&W or Sepia requests and light highlighting.

What is a "web image"?

JPEG's for use on a website or in an online portfolio. (Literal dimensions = longest side 300ppi @ 72dpi)

Are the images completely owned by the client to use as they see fit? Who holds the copyrights?

The images are yours to use for personal use only. If you require the use of the photographs for commercial use please contact us to be further discussed. In the meantime, the client and the photographer maintain a dual copyright of all images.

What about the models copyrights?

The photographer on the shoot will provide a model release for each model at the shoot. The models can request copyright access from the photographer. Or, as a partial copyright owner, the client may give copies of the purchased images to the model at their discretion using their own time and media.

Shoot Information

What should I bring to the shoot?

You are responsible for all styling supplies, accessories, and clothing. And unless you've arranged for Prime Look to provide models, they are also your responsibility.

Can I bring props?

You're welcome to bring in props or simple set pieces to use in the shoot as long as all prop items are cleared in advance with the photographer and school administration.

Can I bring my own camera to snap extra shots?

The shooting area is a closed set. However, you're welcome to shoot anywhere you want away from the set, either before the shoot or after.

I have a specific place in mind. Will your photographers shoot on location?

Our photographers are available to shoot on location, but for a completely different set of rates. Please reference our photo sessions/extra services page for more details.

Payment Options

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal, cash and money orders. NO checks.

Can I pay for everything upfront or all on the day of the shoot?

Prime Look Photography requires an advance deposit of half of the sitting charge to secure your shoot for that date and time. You're welcome to pay in advance in full if you want. However, you might want to purchase additional images or editing on the day of the shoot as well.

What happens if I can't make the shoot after all? Can I re-schedule?

As long as we're informed more than 48 hours in advance, you may reschedule for another day. Otherwise, you lose the deposit paid in advance to secure your spot (which is only half of the total sitting charge).

I can't afford the entire shoot on my own, can I split the cost of the shoot with another student?

Yes, students may double up on a single shoot. Keep in mind that you're also splitting the hour and the 2 full size images.

What if I need more than one hour? Can I book back to back shoots?

We are happy to book a back to back shoot for you. However, there are no discounts for booking a back to back shoot. Each hour has a $70 sitting charge. You may book up to 4 shoots back to back.
